Financially:
ZERO - The End of Prostate Cancer is a national nonprofit organization with the mission to end prostate cancer. They lead the fight to end the disease by advancing research, encouraging action, and providing education and support to men and their families. Premier programs include the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk, the largest men's health event series in America. They are a 501c3 charity recognized with four stars by Charity Navigator, a Better Business Bureau member, and 97 cents of every dollar donated goes to research and programs.
You've got between now and August 14 to make a financial contribution online for Swim. Bike Run Try for Zero but you're welcome to continue your support at any amount at any time after the event as well! If you'd rather hand me cash money or a check, I can make that happen.
Other ways to support:
While I'm definitely trying to raise money for ZERO with this event, I will also need support that isn't financial. I'm going to need training buddies, lots of words of encouragement, and I would really love it if people came out to support me on the day of the race, August 14, 2016, at Lake Nokomis.
